Winter Commissions

Wrapping Up 2024 with My Last Artworks

This December, I’ve been working on some surprise commissions for clients in Michigan, something I absolutely love because it allows me to diversify my artistic practice. While I’m primarily a sculptor, creating paintings using mixed techniques has been a refreshing and enjoyable experience. I’m incredibly grateful and thrilled for these commissions—they’ve been so much fun to work on!

Interestingly, throughout my journey as an artist, most of my commissions have come from clients in Scandinavia and the northern regions of North America. It’s fascinating to see how these areas have such a strong connection to my work, which is both inspiring and rewarding.

Current Artwork in The Process - Californian Lou Lou´s

I’m currently working on ceramic sculptures designed to evoke more than one emotion, aiming to give them feelings and expressions that connect beyond their form. It's an attempt to bring the pieces to life through morphology rather than animation. While we’ve lost some appreciation for tangible art, we are used to narratives that move or tell stories. This approach offers a new perspective in my work, giving my creations more depth and dimension.
